AP CM emphasizes need of developing cities as growth engines for financial activities

Tirupati, Sep 22 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu here on Tuesday launched Rs 11,359 crore worth of development works virtually in Kuppam and emphasized the need of developing urban areas as growth engines. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that Rs 11,359 crore worth development would be taken up in 123 municipal corporations and municipalities to improve amenities. He observed that urban development works are being undertaken using the Hybrid Annuity Model for the first time, ensuring that no financial burden falls on Urban Local Bodies.
