Telangana: Student dies as lighting truss collapses at MVSR Engineering College fest

Hyderabad, Oct. 18 (UNI) A B.Tech student died, and around 14 others were injured after a lighting truss collapsed during a Dandiya event at MVSR Engineering College in Nadargul, on the outskirts of Hyderabad, on Saturday evening. The incident occurred around 1920 hours during 'Sangamam-2026', a national-level college festival held on October 16 and 17. The lighting structure reportedly collapsed onto female students participating in the event. The injured students were shifted to nearby hospitals for treatment.
