Judge's minor son detained after luxury car kills scooter rider in Kochi

Kochi, Oct 25 (UNI) A 55-year-old man was killed when his scooter collided with a Mercedes-Benz allegedly driven by a 17-year-old boy, the son of a judicial officer, at Cheranalloor in Ernakulam district in the early hours of Sunday. The deceased, Jayabalakrishnan, was returning home after closing his roadside eatery near Chittoor temple when the accident occurred on Container Road near Maraparambu at around 0230 hrs, sources said.
