South Africa's Simon Harmer named ICC Men’s Player of Month for November

Dubai, Dec 15 (UNI) South Africa spinner Simon Harmer has been named the ICC Men’s Player of the Month for his stellar performances during the ICC World Test Championship series against India.
The right-arm spinner beat out competition from Bangladesh’s Taijul Islam and Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz to claim the coveted award for the first time.
Harmer earned the honour on the back of a dominant Test series in which he was also named Player of the Series, playing a pivotal role in South Africa’s historic 2-0 victory, their first Test series win in India since 2000.
