Social media post triggers unrest in UP's Shahjahanpur, accused held

Shahjahanpur (UP) , Sept 13 (UNI) Tension gripped Shahjahanpur after an objectionable social media post about a religious scripture triggered outrage among local residents.
Thousands of people gathered outside the Sadar Bazar police station last night, demanding strict action against the accused. The situation escalated as the crowd started shouting slogans, prompting police to disperse them using mild force.
According to police, the accused, identified as KK Dixit, a resident of Bahadurganj, had posted an objectionable comment on Facebook about a religious text.
