New Delhi/Colombo, Apr 25 (UNI) Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake today spoke with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and unequivocally condemned the Pahalgam terror attack. He also expressed hope that the current tensions will ease soon and that regional peace and stability will be restored swiftly.
The MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal in a post on X said that the Sri Lankan President expressed his country’s solidarity with India in this difficult time.
“President @anuradisanayake of Sri Lanka spoke with PM @narendramodi and conveyed heartfelt condolences on the tragic loss of innocent lives in the terror attack on Indian soil in Pahalgam and unequivocally condemned the heinous act of terror.
