Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Mar 27 2016 11:33AM Six killed, 15 injured as lorry hits tractorVijayapur ( Karnataka), Mar 27 (UNI) Six persons, including a two-year-old child were killed and 15 others injured when a container lorry hit a tractor in which they were travelling near Horthi Tanda on Solapur-Vijayapur National Highway in this district last night. The victims, hailing from Maharastra, came to Vijayapur district for sugar cane cutting works. They are proceeding to their native place after completion of works when the accident occurred, police said. The injured persons were admitted to Indi and other hospitals for treatment. Senior police officials visited to the spot. A case has been registered at Horthi police station and an investigation is underway, police added.
