SIT to reach Ayodhya tonight: five detained, Rs 2 cr recovered so far

Ayodhya, Jun 14 (UNI) The case of theft of offerings at the Ayodhya Ram Temple is gaining momentum, even as the Special Investigation Team (SIT) formed on Saturday by the Uttar Pradesh government to investigate, is set to arrive in Ayodhya tonight.
The three-member SIT is headed by Lucknow Divisional Commissioner Vijay Vishwas Pant, IG (Range) Kiran S and Special Secretary Finance Neel Ratan.
Meanwhile, the central government had dispatched an IPS officer to the temple three days ago.
