SIT investigation in Pune car accident case 'misleading': MPCC chief

Mumbai, May 29 (UNI) Alleging that the SIT inquiry in Pune car accident case as 'misleading', Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee president Nana Patole on Wednesday accused the state government of trying to shield children of the rich by covering up the case.
Addressing a press conference here, he said that the special investigation team (SIT) was formed to investigate this case under Dr Pallavi Sapale, who herself has many allegations of corruption against her.
"Everyone knows about things done by Dr Sapale while she was in Miraj hospital. How can such a corrupt officer conduct an impartial investigation," he asked.
