Singer Jasmine Sandlas halts show after harassment incident in Delhi

New Delhi, Feb 11 (UNI) Singer Jasmine Sandlas abruptly halted her Delhi concert midway after alleging that a couple of men were harassing women in the audience. She instructed security to intervene and escort the men out of the venue to ensure the safety of her fans.
The incident occurred at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium during Jasmine’s ongoing tour. In a video from the show, she is heard saying in Punjabi that she would not sing until the women were safe at the concert. She told security, “Security, can you please remove these two guys? They are troubling these women. I will not perform if women don’t feel safe at my concert.”
Jasmine, widely recognized for the hit dance track Shararat from director Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar, has also lent her voice to popular songs like ‘Nasha’, ‘Illegal Weapon 2.0’, ‘Devil Yaar Naa Miley’, ‘Sip Sip’, ‘Laavan’, ‘Gulaabi Queen’, and ‘Taras’.
‘Dhurandhar’ stars Ranveer Singh and debutant Sara Arjun, with Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Saumya Tandon, Rakesh Bedi, and Danish Poddar in supporting roles.
During the concert, Jasmine surprised fans by shooting parts of her music video Illegal Robbery live on stage. A sea of fans, dressed in red following her Instagram call-out the previous day, turned up to participate in the shoot.
The event also featured a performance by Canadian singer-songwriter Jazzy B, who delivered a high-energy set that bridged old-school and contemporary Punjabi vibes. His appearance transformed the festival into a lively dance floor with crowd favourites like ‘Naag’, ‘Dil Luteya’, ‘Rail Gaddi’, Gaddi, Miss Karda, and ‘This Party Getting Hot’.
