Singareni is preparing to undertake more mines in other states and countries : CMD

Hyderabad, Apr 19 (UNI) Inspired with the successful inauguration of the Naini coal mine in Odisha, Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) Chairman and Managing Director N. Balaram on Saturday said that the company is preparing to undertake more mines and other mineral productions in various other states and countries.
The opening of the Naini coal mine has instilled confidence and assurance among everyone that Singareni can expand anywhere, Balaram said at a function held at Singareni Bhavan here on the occasion of the recent inauguration of the Naini coal block, marking Singareni's first step in expanding to other states.
The CMD stated that the achievement of the Naini coal block was made possible through the special initiative of Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, along with the support of the Union Coal Minister Kishan Reddy, the Odisha Chief Minister, the local MLA, and officials from various departments.
He extended his congratulations to the many former Singareni officials who contributed their efforts over the long nine-year period to achieve this Naini Coal block.
Balaram also stated that Singareni Company will no longer be solely a coal production company but will also grow as a producer of other minerals, expanding not only in thermal power but also in the renewable energy sector.
On the occasion, Janak Prasad, Secretary General of the Representative Workers' Union and Chairman of the State Minimum Wages Committee, along with Rajkumar, General Secretary of the Recognized Workers' Union, praised the commendable special efforts of CMD, acknowledging the proactive support of the state government in achieving these milestones, and honoured him with a grand tribute.
In the video meeting held on this occasion, all area general managers, union leaders of officials, leaders of recognition and representative associations, and representatives of C.M.O.A.I. praised Singareni for achieving the Naini coal mine, calling it a historic milestone and acknowledging the significant efforts of the Chairman.
