Sindhu, Lakshya set for comeback at Arctic Open

Vantaa (Finland), Oct 7 (UNI) Indian badminton sensations PV Sindhu and Lakshya Sen are primed to make their long-awaited return to the court at the Arctic Open 2024, a BWF Super 500 tournament, commencing this Tuesday.
Currently ranked 14th in the world, two-time Olympic medallist Sindhu had a disappointing exit in the women’s singles at the Paris Olympics, where she was eliminated in the round of 16 by He Bingjao of China.
Following the Olympics, Sindhu made the decision to sit out all BWF Tour events and underwent a significant coaching change, parting ways with her Indonesian coach Agus Dwi Santoso. She has since appointed India’s Anoop Sridhar and South Korea’s Lee Soon Il as her new coaching team.
