Bengaluru, Dec 4 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar on Wednesday raised strong objections to recent actions by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), accusing the agency of attempting to influence the judiciary and undermining the integrity of its investigation.
Siddaramaiah, whose MUDA case is due to be heard in the High Court tomorrow, criticised the ED for writing to the Lokayukta just a day before the petition’s hearing.
Taking to X, he stated: "Just a day before our petition is set to be heard in the High Court, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) writes to the Lokayukta - a move clearly aimed at influencing the judiciary."
