Shoshan Mukti Manch slams BJP after SC Morcha leader accuses MLA of threats

Shimla, Dec 12 (UNI) A political controversy has deepened in Himachal Pradesh after a BJP SC Morcha leader from Churah lodged a formal complaint accusing Chamba MLA Hans Raj of threatening him.
The matter, which has already triggered sharp reactions within Dalit circles, has now drawn strong criticism from the CPM-backed Shoshan Mukti Manch, which has called the episode a serious reflection of rising insecurity among Dalit political workers even within the ruling party’s own organisational structure.
According to sources, the District President of the BJP SC Morcha (Churah) has alleged that he fears a threat to his life from MLA Hans Raj. The situation escalated further after a video surfaced on social media in which MLA Hans Raj is purportedly seen saying, “I greet people on the eve of Diwali, but we will see how to make 'Diwala' (bankruptcy) of a person who created rumours in public.”
