Shobharani slams Rathod, defends Seethakka over allegations

Hyderabad, Apr 15 (UNI) Telangana Mahila Corporation Chairperson Bandru Shobharani on Wednesday came down heavily on BRS leader Satyavathi Rathod for her criticism of Tribal Welfare Minister Seethakka, terming it “atrocious” and politically motivated.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan, Shobharani alleged that the opposition was continuing to “sling mud” at the government irrespective of its initiatives.
She defended the procurement of mobile phones for Anganwadi teachers, stating that the decision was taken by the Central Government.

Stalin jumps to Vijay's defence, urges TN Guv to take immediate steps to form new govt

Chennai, May 8 (UNI) Coming to the defence of beleaguered TVM Founder and Chief Minister-elect Vijay, whose party has emerged as the single largest party in the recent Assembly polls, but fell short of a simple majority by 11 seats, outgoing Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President M K Stalin on Friday evening urged Governor R V Arlekar to take immediate necessary steps to form a new government in accordance with the Constitution and avoid any further delay.
