Shimla police reunite missing woman with family within 24 hours

Shimla, Mar 1 (UNI) Himachal's first women police station in the Bishop Cotton School (BCS) area, on Sunday, traced a 47-year-old missing woman within 24 hours and safely reunited her with her family.
According to police officials, a complaint was lodged on March 1 by Kumari Tanuja, a resident of Thakur Niwas, BCS, stating that her mother, Mansi (47), had gone missing on February 28 at around 6 pm from the BCS Diamond area. After making unsuccessful efforts to locate her, the family approached the police for assistance.
Taking immediate action, the Women Police Station registered the complaint and initiated a search operation. The police team used technical surveillance and local intelligence inputs to track the woman’s movements. Through coordinated efforts, she was traced within 24 hours and found safe and in good health.
