Shilpa Shetty brings festive charm to MasterChef India’s harvest special episode

New Delhi, Jan 12 (UNI) MasterChef India marked the harvest season with a special episode celebrating India’s cultural diversity, traditions, and culinary heritage. Coinciding with festivals such as Pongal, Makar Sankranti, Lohri, and Magh Bihu, the Harvest Special highlighted the shared spirit of togetherness and joy that unites the country during this festive period.

Adding warmth and festive elegance to the episode, actor and judge Shilpa Shetty graced the MasterChef kitchen, lending a celebratory touch to the occasion. The episode paid tribute to Bhav, Bhakti, and the essence of Bharat through food, stories, and cultural expression.

Welcoming the harvest season, Shilpa Shetty reflected on the unifying spirit of the festivals. “At this time, the whole of India is engulfed in the colours of harvest and festivals. Sometimes Pongal, sometimes Sankranti, sometimes Bihu, sometimes Lohri. The names may be different, but the aim is one, happiness,” she said.

Sharing her experience of being part of the special episode, she added, “The Harvest Special episode of MasterChef India felt truly special to me. Every dish narrated a unique story, every flavour paid homage to our rich culinary traditions, and together they came alive as a celebration of Indian talent that is stepping forward with confidence, creativity, and fearlessness on a global stage.”

The Harvest Special episode stands as a tribute to India’s cultural richness, where tradition meets aspiration and the country’s culinary legacy continues to evolve while remaining rooted in its heritage.
