Shanta Kumar Slams Congress Over Ram Temple Donation Theft Remarks, Calls Allegations 'Baseless'

Dharamshala, July 10 (UNI) Former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister and ex-Union Minister Shanta Kumar on Friday strongly criticised the State Congress president Vinay Kumar for alleging that the theft of donations at the Ram Temple was a "well-planned conspiracy" by the BJP.
In a statement, Shanta Kumar said the Congress had announced protests at Ram Temple premises across district headquarters in the state on July 14 by holding bhajan-kirtan programmes over the alleged scam.
Referring to remarks made by Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav and other opposition leaders, Shanta Kumar alleged that they were accusing the BJP of betraying Lord Ram and the Constitution by linking the temple donation theft to the party.
