Seven rescued from Sahastrakund waterfall in Nanded

Nanded, Nov 13 (UNI) Seven persons were rescued on Thursday after being stranded at the Sahastrakund waterfall located in Kinwat tehsil of Nanded district in Maharashtra.
According to official sources, all rescued persons, four women and three children, are residents of Ekamba village in Umarkhed tehsil.
Around 3:15 pm the group entered the waterfall area under the mistaken assumption that water levels were low. Despite receiving warnings from local residents about potential dangers, the group continued further into the stream. Their situation became dangerous when water currents gathered strength leaving them trapped and unable to return to safety.
