Seven Inter-State smugglers arrested with 9.178 kg charas near Indo-Nepal Border

Motihari, Dec 8 (UNI) The security personnel arrested seven inter-state smugglers and confiscated 9.178 kilograms of charas from two locations in East Champaran near the Indo-Nepal international border.
Police Superintendent of East Champaran Swarn Prabhat told UNI here on Monday that the smugglers were arrested in a joint operation of Bihar STF special team, SSB Special Bureau, and Motihari district police following some prior intelligence inputs.
He said here that the security personnel intercepted a vehicle bearing Rajasthan registration number RJ 25 CB 4021 during vehicle checking near the Raxaul Customs Office under Haria police station and recovered 7.178 kg of charas. Four people travelling by the car were arrested, the SP informed.
