Phagwara (Punjab), June 19 (UNI) At least seven people, including the driver, were injured after an auto-rickshaw overturned on Sultanpur Lodhi Road near Kapurthala late Wednesday evening. The incident occurred when the vehicle hit a pothole, causing it to lose balance and overturn.
Sources said the driver, identified as Avinash, was returning home to Pithorahaal village in Sultanpur Lodhi after visiting the Mata Bhadrakali temple in Shekhupur along with his family.
On the way back, the auto-rickshaw reportedly encountered a deep pothole on the poorly maintained road, leading to the accident.
