Senior Cong leader Satej Patil dismisses defection rumors, launches scathing attack on BJP's 'Import Culture'

Kolhapur, Jul 18 (UNI) In a major political development that has sent ripples through Maharashtra's corridors of power, Congress leader Satej Patil has categorically rejected mounting speculation that NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) state president Jayant Patil is poised to join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Dismissing the rumors as baseless, Patil reaffirmed his faith in the MVA coalition's unity while simultaneously launching a blistering critique of the BJP's internal political strategy.
The Congress leader asserted that Jayant Patil remains firmly committed to his current political affiliation and there is no question of him joining the saffron party.
Satej Patil took a sharp dig at the BJP's internal organizational state, accusing the party of abandoning its grassroots workers in favor of "imported" leaders.
