Security personnel conduct flag march in Palampur, Kangra, Jwalamukhi

Kangra, May 29 (UNI) To conduct election process in a peaceful and transparent manner on June one, security personnel took out a flag march in Kangra, Jwalamukhi and Palampur on Wednesday.
During this, District Election officer and deputy commissioner Hemraj Bairwa and superintendent of police Shalini Agnihotri were also present.
Bairwa said that strong security arrangements have been made to conduct election process smoothly.

Chandigarh, June 21 (UNI) In a major breakthrough, Amritsar Commissionerate Police has dismantled a Pakistan-backed Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) terror module being operated by UK-based handler Dharam Singh alias Dharma Sandhu with the arrest of a local operative and recovered six sophisticated foreign-made pistols from his possession, said DGP Punjab Gaurav Yadav here on Saturday.

Punjab: 23-year-old inmate dies under mysterious circumstances in Kapurthala Central Jail
