Security heightened outside Aamir Khan's residence after Bishnoi gang threat

Mumbai, July 18 (UNI) Security has been tightened outside Bollywood actor Aamir Khan's residence in Mumbai after an alleged threat, purportedly issued by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, surfaced on social media, prompting police to step up surveillance and launch an inquiry.
The threat, shared through a viral social media post and an accompanying audio clip, was purportedly issued by individuals identifying themselves as "Aarzoo Bishnoi" and "Tyson Bishnoi" of the Lawrence Bishnoi Group. The message accused Aamir Khan of promoting "love jihad" and warned that those allegedly involved in such activities would face "consequences soon."
The post claimed that such actions were "against our culture and the country" and asserted that those using their celebrity status to promote them would be dealt with "in our own way."
