Security forces step up operations in Manipur; arms seized, multiple arrests made

Imphal, July 20 (UNI) Security forces in Manipur have intensified search and area domination operations across fringe and vulnerable districts in a sustained effort to curb insurgency and restore normalcy.
Several arms seizures and arrests were made as part of the ongoing counter-insurgency measures yesterday.
Police today said a significant cache of weapons and tactical gear was recovered during an operation in a village under Churachandpur Police Station.
