Security forces hoist Tricolour on Karegutta Hill at Chhattisgarh-Telangana border

Jagdalpur, Apr 30 (UNI) Security forces have hoisted the national flag on Karegutta Hill, situated on the Chhattisgarh-Telangana border, marking a significant milestone in the fight against the Naxalites, an official said on Wednesday.
Operation Sankalp, the anti-Naxal operation, which entered its ninth day on Wednesday, has seen major successes, with the security forces gaining control over the strategic hill, the official said.
The hill, once a stronghold of Naxalites, is now under the control of the security forces. The Tricolour was hoisted to send a clear message to the red ultras that their rule in the area has come to an end, the official said.
