Security Forces arrest three insurgents in separate operations in Manipur

Imphal, Aug 12 (UNI) Security forces and Manipur Police apprehended three active insurgents in separate operations across Thoubal and Imphal East districts yesterday.
According to the police, one militant was arrested from the Tekcham Maning Ching area under Khongjom Police Station in Thoubal district. Preliminary investigations revealed his involvement in a case of firing at security personnel and issuing threats to employees of a technical institute in Imphal.
Authorities seized a .32 pistol with magazine, 50 live rounds of various calibres, four INSAS magazines, and two mobile phones with SIM cards from his possession.
