Seafood festival to highlight international marine symposium in Kochi

Kochi, Oct 6 (UNI) A vibrant seafood festival will be a major attraction at the Fourth International Symposium on Marine Ecosystems: Challenges and Opportunities (MECOS 4), to be held here from November 4 to 6, 2025.
The event will take place at the ICAR–Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI).
Organised by the Marine Biological Association of India (MBAI) in association with CMFRI, the three-day global symposium will bring together marine scientists, researchers, policymakers, and industry experts. Discussions will focus on growing threats to marine ecosystems, including climate change, rising sea temperatures, and extreme weather events.
