Scotland duo Cross & Watt penalised for breaching ICC Code of Conduct

Amsterdam, May 13 (UNI) Scotland wicketkeeper-batter Matthew Cross and spinner Mark Watt have been fined 10 percent of their match fee for breaching Level 1 of the ICC Code of Conduct for separate instances during their recent League 2 outing against Netherlands.
The pair have been found guilty of breaching Article 2.8 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to “showing dissent at an Umpire’s decision during an International Match.”
In addition to the fine, one demerit point has been added to the disciplinary records of both Cross and Watt. The players do not have any previous offences in the preceding 24-month period.
