School Timings Changed in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Due to Rising Heat

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Mar 15 ( UNI) Due to the rising temperatures, the district administration in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar has decided to change the timings of schools. The revised schedule for primary and secondary schools will come into effect from Monday, March 16.
According to the district administration, around 3,080 schools in the district will now operate from 7:00 am to 12:30 pm. The decision was taken after temperatures in the district neared 40°C, raising concerns about students' health and safety. The change is expected to provide significant relief to students, especially those from rural areas.
Meanwhile, the highest temperature in Central Maharashtra has been recorded in Jalgaon, where the mercury has reached 41°C. In view of the increasing heat, the Jalgaon district administration has also gone on alert mode. Due to the intense heat experienced over the past few days, authorities have ordered that all schools in the district operate during the morning session.
