SC issues notice on safeguarding rivers from environmental degradation

New Delhi, Oct 14 (UNI) The Supreme Court on Monday issued notices to various governmental bodies on a plea seeking implementation of safeguards to the nation’s rivers from environmental degradation.
The notices were sent tothe Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, the Ministry of Jal Shakti, the Ministry of Earth Sciences, the Central Water Commission and the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB)
