SC asks Sahara to file its assets details by May 11

New Delhi, Apr 27 (UNI) The Supreme Court today asked Sahara to file its detailed assets, including overseas, in a sealed cover by May 11. A three-judge bench, headed by Chief Justice TS Thakur and also comprising Justices Anil R Dave and Arjan Kumar Sikri, asked Sahara to file its detailed assets list in the next date of hearing on May 11. Arvind Dattar, one of the lawyers for Securities and Exchange Board of India, informed the Apex Court that it had engaged two agencies- SBI Capital and HDFC-- to start the sale of Sahara's properties. He also told the Top Court that the process would most probably be completed within a period of three to four months. Rajiv Dhavan, one of the counsel appearing for Sahara, pleaded to the Apex Court that the chairman of the group, Subrata Roy, be put under house arrest or be granted parole. The Supreme Court decided to hear the matter further on May 11. UNI XC DS RP1612
