SBICAP Securities warns public about Fraudulent Investment Schemes

Hyderabad/Mumbai, Jan 12 (UNI) SBICAP Securities Limited (SSL) on Monday issued a public caution against individuals and entities impersonating the company to defraud investors.
Fraudsters are reportedly operating under names such as Saroj Gupta, Vijay Laxmi, Sumit Collection, Saan Management Consultancy Pvt. Ltd., Brokman Digital Pvt. Ltd., and Akshay Tours and Travels, among others.
According to SSL, these impostors are misusing the company’s name, logo, and even names of senior officials through fake WhatsApp groups, websites, and online forms to solicit money from unsuspecting investors.
Some of the fraudulent WhatsApp groups identified include M6 SBI Securities, J8 SBI Securities, SBI Advanced Broker Account, and SBICAP Securities VIP (G2). Fake websites include www.sbisecurt.com , www.sbisecusct.com, and several variants of sbiadvancedbrokeract domains.
SSL clarified that it has no connection with these individuals, platforms, or activities. The company reiterated that it does not offer guaranteed returns and communicates with clients only through verified WhatsApp accounts with an official blue tick.
Investors are urged to report any suspected fraud to local law enforcement or the National Cyber Crime Helpline at 1930.
