Saudi Arabia intercepts drones and missiles in Al-Kharj and Riyadh

Riyadh, Mar 5 (UNI) Saudi Arabia’s air defenses intercepted and destroyed four missiles and five drones targeting various locations across the Kingdom early Friday, the Ministry of Defense said.
In a series of posts on X, the Ministry said that three ballistic missiles had been launched toward Prince Sultan Air Base in Al-Kharj governorate. In subsequent updates, officials said one drone was shot down in the Eastern Province and another in Al-Kharj.
Later in the morning, the ministry announced that a cruise missile was intercepted in Al-Kharj, followed by the downing of three additional drones in the Eastern Riyadh region.
