Santosh Trophy Selection: J&K Sports Minister orders probe, BJP seeks his resignation

Jammu, Dec 15 (UNI) A day after controversy has erupted in the selection of Jammu and Kashmir football team for the prestigious Santosh Trophy wherein it has been alleged that no single player from Jammu has been selected into the squad, the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Minister Satish Sharma has ordered probe into the matter in a time bound manner.
However, the Jammu and Kashmir BJP has demanded resignation from the Sports Minister alleging illegal and discriminatory selection process for the Santosh Trophy football team.
Sharma taking to the social media handle posted that he has ordered a detailed impartial enquiry in a time bound manner.
