Sanjay Dutt starrer 'Aakhri Sawaal' gets CBFC green signal, gets 'UA16' certificate before release

Mumbai, May 13 (UNI) The upcoming political drama "Aakhri Sawaal", headlined by Sanjay Dutt, has been granted a 'UA 16 ' certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), clearing the path for its theatrical release.
It has become one of the most talked-about upcoming films of the year, thanks to its bold, intense and thought-provoking story. The film captured nationwide attention following its explosive trailer launch, which showcased intense drama, political tension, and emotionally wrenching moments.
Now, amid growing excitement, the film has been officially granted a 'UA16' certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification, paving the way for its grand theatrical release on May 15. Apart from Dutt, the film's powerful star cast includes Amit Sadh, Sameera Reddy, Tridha Choudhury, Neetu Chandra and Namashi Chakraborty in pivotal roles.
Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Abhijit Mohan Varang, and presented by Nikhil Nanda, the film is produced by Nanda and Dutt, with co-producers Punit Nanda, Dr. Deepak Singh, Gaurav Dubey and Ujjwal Anand. The story, screenplay, and dialogues are written by Utkarsh Naithani. UNI NST SSP
