Sangrur Police solves blind Murder Case; two accused arrested

Sangrur, Jan 16:(UNI): Sangrur Police has solved the blind murder case that occurred on January 11, 2026 in Dhuri and arrested two accused in connection with the crime. Sharing details at the Police Lines, Sangrur, SSP Sangrur Sartaj Singh Chahal stated that the murder was committed by two individuals after a dispute arose with their third accomplice over the distribution of stolen goods.
SSP Sartaj Singh Chahal said that on January 11, 2026, the police received information that an unidentified person was lying unconscious on a pathway leading to agricultural fields. The person had died. In this regard, FIR No. 15 dated 11.01.2026 under Sections 103 and 3(5) of the BNS was registered at Police Station
Sadar Dhuri against unknown persons, and investigation was initiated.
