Russian govt extends state program on space development until 2036

Moscow, Feb 10 (UNI) The Russian government said on Monday it had extended a state program on space development until 2036 due to the need to synchronize it with the national space project being developed under instructions of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"[Prime Minister] Mikhail Mishustin has signed an order to extend the period of implementation of the ‘Space Activities of Russia’ state program for another six years, until 2036," the government said on Telegram.
The main goal of the program is to ensure Russia’s guaranteed access and the necessary presence in space in the interests of science and the socio-economic sphere.
