Moscow, Sep 10 (UNI) Russia will continue to strengthen the navy and all types of troops and increase their capabilities, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Tuesday.
"We will continue to strengthen our navy, including its strategic nuclear component, systematically and comprehensively develop all types and types of troops, increase strike capabilities, improve the training of ship crews, coastal and aviation units, taking into account real combat experience, and do everything necessary to reliably protect Russia and our citizens," Putin said in an address to the Ocean-2024 command and staff drills.
Russia must be prepared for any development of events, and its armed forces must be ready to repel any possible military aggression in any direction, Putin said. UNI/SPUTNIK AKS
