Rupee rises marginally by 1 paisa against USD

Mumbai, Oct 31 (UNI) The rupee on Thursday rose marginally by one paisa to 84.08 against USD in the opening session on the selling of US dollars by bankers and exporters, dealers at the foreign exchange said.

The local unit improved owing to weak dollar against other world currencies amid a weak equity market in the opening session, traders informed.



The rupee recorded intraday highs and lows at 84.06 and 84.09, respectively, the dealer added.
