Rupee  rises  by 13  paise to 86.59 against USD

Mumbai, Jun 20 (UNI) Snapping the three day losing streak, Rupee on Friday appreciated by 13 paise to close at 86.59 against the US dollar.

Dollar saw relatively weak demand by bankers and importers, after crude oil prices eased, a forex trader said.

The rupee opened 9 paise higher at 86.63 against the dollar. It closed the previous session at 86.72.

The partially convertible rupee recorded an intra-day high and low of 86.54 and 86.67respectively, dealers added.
