Rupee down by 9 paise against USD

Mumbai, June 12 NI) Snapping its upward trend of the last three sessions Rupee on Thursday depreciated by 9 paise to close at 85.60 against the US dollar, pressured by corporate dollar demand and likely portfolio outflows, even as broad-based dollar weakness boosted its regional peers.
Rupee opened 8 paise up today at 85.43 against the US dollar against Wednesday's close of 85.51
The partially convertible rupee recorded intra-day high and low at 85.40 and 85.64, respectively, dealers added.
