Rohit silences critics with landmark Lord's hundred

London, July 19 (UNI) Rohit Sharma turned mounting questions over his form and future into another chapter of ODI history on Saturday, producing a majestic century at Lord's to become the most prolific visiting batter in England in One-Day Internationals.
The former India captain brought up his 34th ODI hundred by slog-sweeping leg-spinner Adil Rashid for four, triggering a standing ovation from a packed Lord's spectators.
The Indian dressing room, led by head coach Gautam Gambhir, rose to applaud, while Virat Kohli embraced his captain as the milestone capped one of Rohit's most significant innings in recent years.
