Road accident kills two, injures several in Mathura

Mathura, Feb 16 (UNI) In Mathura's Chhata area, two men were killed in a road accident early Monday morning on the Agra-Delhi Highway near the Govardhan flyover.
According to police, an unidentified vehicle hit their scooter around 6 am, leaving both riders critically injured. One victim died at the scene, while the second succumbed to injuries while being referred to a higher medical facility.
The deceased were identified as Sunny, a resident of Tehra in Agra, and Layak Singh from Humayunpur Rohai in Agra district. Police said both worked at a private canteen and were returning from a wedding function when the accident occurred. An investigation is underway to identify the vehicle involved.
