RJD raises financial crisis issue, urges Governor to act on teachers’ dues

Patna, June 13 (UNI) Continuing its attack on the Bihar government over its alleged financial mismanagement, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has sought the intervention of Bihar Governor Syed Ata Hasnain in ensuring timely payment of salaries to contractual teachers.
In a letter to the Governor, RJD spokesperson Chitranjan Gagan urged him to personally intervene and ensure the timely disbursal of salaries to contractual teachers and grant them promotions in accordance with the provisions laid down in the service rules.
In his letter, Gagan stated that contractual teachers have not received their salaries for the past four months, placing them and their families under severe financial distress. He described the prolonged delay in salary payments as deeply concerning and unfortunate.
