Rhinoplasty Workshop Organized at AIIMS Patna

Patna, Dec. 7 (UNI) The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Patna performed rhinoplasty surgeries during a two day Rhinoplasty (Nose Surgery) workshop which concluded here on Sunday.
According to a release by Patna AIIMS, the Department of Burns and Plastic Surgery, AIIMS Patna organised the workshop in collaboration with the Bihar and Jharkhand Plastic Surgeons Association.
During the two day workshop which commenced yesterday, rhinoplasty surgeries were performed on three women patients. Two of them had nasal deformities due to childhood trauma, while the third patient had a broad and thick nose. Renowned plastic surgeons Dr. Bhandari and Dr. Rajiv demonstrated all three surgeries using different techniques and delivered lectures on various aspects of rhinoplasty. As part of the programme, a national webinar was also conducted, in which plastic surgeons from across the country joined online and participated actively.
