Revanth seeks Centre's support for key Telangana infrastructure projects

Hyderabad, June 11 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to extend the Centre's support for several major infrastructure and development projects in the state, including the Hyderabad Metro Rail Phase-2, Regional Ring Road (RRR), Warangal Airport and an Indian Institute of Management (IIM).
The Chief Minister, who met PM Modi at New Delhi on Thursday, urged the Centre to facilitate discussions with the Maharashtra government for the effective utilisation of Godavari waters to meet Telangana's future irrigation and drinking water requirements.
Seeking approval for Hyderabad Metro Rail Phase-2, Revanth Reddy said proposals worth Rs 38,595 crore have been submitted for expanding the metro network by 122.9 km across seven corridors and requested that the project be taken up as a joint venture between the Centre and the State.
