Retired rural bank employees to get pension from Nov 1993: Trivedi

Patna, Aug 14 (UNI) About 73,000 retired rural bank employees in the country will get pension from November 1993 like commercial bank employees were getting following an order by the Supreme Court, National Convenor of United Forum of Gramin Bank Unions DN Trivedi said here on Wednesday.
He said the pension will be given with retrospective effect and added that 60,000 pensioners and 12,000 family pensioners of Gramin Bank will be benefited by the decision of the Supreme Court.
Giving details, Trivedi said that Gramin Bank was established in 1975 but got the same salary allowance at par with the commercial banks from September 1987.
