Residential township to be built for IAS‑IPS officers in Nagpur

Nagpur, Nov 7 (UNI) Maharashtra Public Works Department (PWD) has proposed building a multi‑storey block (township) for IAS-IPS officers in Nagpur, as many of them do not have a proper government residence.
Talking to a section of the media on Friday, Janardan Bhanuse, Superintending Engineer of the PWD Nagpur‑Circle, said the proposed township will come up at Ravinagar for these officers. A Rs 54 crore project has been submitted to the government in this regard.
Bhanuse said that in the city there are approximately 17 to 18 IAS and IPS officers including the Divisional Commissioner, City Police Commissioner, Municipal Commissioner, District Collector, Chairman of NMRDA, Additional Tribal Commissioner, District Police Superintendent.
