Reserve Rs 25 crore funds for women and child welfare activities, says Neelam Gorhe

Ahilyanagar May 16 ( UNI) The District Planning Committee (DPC) should reserve Rs 25 crore for women and child welfare activities, and a ‘Bharosa Cell’ should be started in every taluka, said Deputy Chairperson of the Maharashtra Legislative Council Neelam Gorhe.
She held a meeting of district administration officials regarding various issues. A fund of Rs 850 crore of ‘DPC’ has been approved for Ahilyanagar district, she said.
Gorhe further said that three percent of this, (Rs 25 crore) should be reserved for women and child development activities.
